Software Developer
CFD Research is looking for a full-stack software developer to support our Air Force customers. This position will work closely with research scientists and engineers to support analysis, modeling, and simulation of all aspects of weapon systems, including airframe design, sensors, navigation systems, command and control, and system dynamics. Responsibilities may include:
Designing software architectures and building software systems Integrating scientific models into larger software systems Deploying applications on the cloud Developing automated tests Transforming research code into production level software Developing user-friendly graphical user interfaces Requirements:
Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance Position requires at least a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Physics, Aerospace Engineering or similar discipline (Master's Degree is a plus) Proficiency with one or more software languages:
C++, Python, MATLAB, Java Demonstrated Object-Oriented programming skills. An understanding of formal source control, testing, and clear documentation. Experience developing in both Linux and Windows environments. Interest in developing scientific software or engineering tools. About the Company:
