Description

The successful candidate will assist the 53d Electronic Warfare Group \(53 EWG\), 53d Wing, at Eglin AFB, Florida to meet mission requirements by performing GSSO duties\. The 53 EWG is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare \(EW\) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces \(CAF\)\. The mission of the 53 EWG is to develop and test mission data \(MD\) to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat\. This mission includes operational EW testing, MD development/validation/verification, force development evaluation execution, and facilitating foreign materiel exploitation\. Jacobs is seeking a qualified GSSO to provide the Air Force support services in the areas of Personnel, Network and, Physical Security, for test and evaluation\. This person will provide day\-to\-day security management and oversight for special access programs \(SAP\) and classified activities\.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities associated with this position include: Knowledge of information, industrial, and personnel security concepts, principles, and practices to plan and implement security programs\. The ability to maintain Top Secret Control Accounts and maintain strict accountability of all classified material\. To be able to develop classification guidance for various technologies and establish and enforce procedures for document marking, safeguarding, and use\. The candidate must also be able to develop, analyze, and evaluate security programs to meet the mission requirements\.
The successful candidate must have the ability to serve as a security advisor providing oversight of multiple security disciplines \(information, personnel, industrial, physical, computer, operations, and communications security\) in support of the wing?s advanced programs and SAPs\. The candidate will provide expert advice to unit leadership and will act as the focal point for all aspects of SAPs in the absence of government supervision\. They will provide an effective security program to ensure that information and material affecting national defense are protected from unauthorized disclosure, espionage, and sabotage\. Finally, a successful candidate will advise and assist with conducting and documenting training and self\-inspections of SAP facilities and operations\.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
The candidate must be a US citizen and have an active TS clearance with DCID 6/4 within the last 5 years and sensitive compartmented information \(SCI\) eligibility at the time of application\.
The Candidate must also have at least an Associate's degree and minimum 5 years? experience related to SAP and SCI security procedures\. An applicable Bachelor's degree can be substituted for some experience\.
The candidate must have knowledge of information, personnel, industrial, physical, computer, operations, and communications security and be able to advise and plan security programs in these areas\.
The Candidate must have working knowledge and application experience with the DoDM 5205\.5 & 5205\.07 vol\. 1\-4\.
Highly Desirable Qualifications:
+ Completion of the Department of the Air Force Security Managers course and Defense Security Service \(DSS\) Introduction to Industrial Security, Personnel Security, and Information Security courses\.

+ Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Familiarity with Knowledge of Air Force computer, personnel security, and facility directives \(specifically JSIG and DCID documents\)\.

Essential Functions:
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time\. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen\. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner\. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required\.
Work Environment
An inside and outside environment \(considerations: closed quarters, close together, lighting\)\. Needs to be able to work well with co\-workers and all levels of management\. No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions\.
Equipment and Machines
Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools as required\.
Attendance
Regular hours will be between Monday\-Friday 7:00 a\.m\. ? 5:00 p\.m\. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important, but not critical, except for deadlines and meetings\. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines\. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements\.
Other Essential Functions
Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co\-workers\. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written\. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others\. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner\. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required\. Travel to and from customer?s locations and the test fields may be required to support projects\. This may involve airline travel\. In some cases, accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary\. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion\.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
