POSITION SUMMARY: Workload includes the evaluation and treatment of emergent, urgent, and non emergent patients ranging in age as young as newborns to over 65 years. The Physicians actual clinical activity will be a function of the Commander/Commanding Officers clinical privileging process and the overall demand for primary care. Workload is a result of scheduled appointments, walk-ins to the clinic from the Emergency Department, walk-ins for specific diagnoses and telephone calls, and consults (such as pre-op). The Physician will be required to consult with specialty physicians for consultative opinions and continuation of care. The Physician will practice within the guidelines set by the credentialing office of the MTF and the Medical Director. Productivity is expected to be comparable to that of the other civilian and military Physicians assigned to the same facility/similar facilities and authorized the same scope of practice. The Physician will be assigned an empanelment of approximately 1,250 patients. The Physician shall meet the Air Force Medical Operations Agency (AFMOA) standard of 100 appointments per week; 80 face to face and 20 virtual.
DUTIES: The duties include but are not limited to the following:
Perform a full range of physician services in accordance with privileges granted by the Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
Direct, perform, or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals within the scope of the clinical privileges or responsibilities.
Examine, diagnose, treat or prescribe courses of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges.
Provide preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling.
Order diagnostic tests as applicable as well as request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.
Technically proficient in directing and teaching other medical staff, providing educational lectures and participating in the provision of in-service training to clinic staff members. Such direction and interaction will adhere to Government and professional clinical standards and accepted clinical protocols.
Attend staff meetings to provide case discussion, continuing education, and continuous quality improvement.
Shall perform peer review of a minimum of 10 routine cases per month
Shall perform an average of 15 Performance Health Assessments (PHA) per month
Shall perform an average of 5 Medical Evaluation Boards (MEB) per month
Shall perform an average of 10 deployment clearances per month
Documentation. Contractor employees shall prepare all documentation to meet or exceed established MTF standards, to include, but not limited to: timeliness, accuracy, content, and signature. Contractor employees shall only use MTF and Air Force approved abbreviations for documentation in the patient health records and follow the MTFs Do Not Use Abbreviation List. (AFI 44-172 / AFI 48-123, Medical Examinations and Standards, 5 November 2013)
Medical Records Documentation. Health care providers shall complete medical records documentation within 72 business hours of the encounter with the patient.
Coding. Contractor employees shall use the proper coding of procedures and treatment, and shall maintain coding accuracy (CPT/E&M/procedure) at the same standard, 90% or higher, as military and civil service health care providers engaged in comparable work.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.). Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association; Association of American Medical Colleges; Liaison Committee on Medical Education; Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) at the time the degree was obtained (e.g. Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school must provide education and medical knowledge substantially equivalent to accredited schools in the United States. Evidence of equivalency to accredited schools in the United States is demonstrated by permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), a fifth pathway certificate for Americans who completed premedical education in the United States and graduate education in a foreign country, or successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.
Internship/Residency: Successful completion of a Family Practice residency program which has been approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association.
Board Certifications: Shall have current board certification as a Family Medicine Physician by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) OR American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP).
Life Support Certifications: Possess and maintain current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Life Support (PALS) certifications.
Experience: Shall have 24 months of experience within the last 36 months. Experience shall be in the same clinical specialty - Family Practice Medicine.
Licensure: 1) Shall have and maintain a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. 2) Active DEA Registration required
Must be a U.S citizen and have the ability to pass a background check/security clearance.
STAFFING & SCHEDULING:
Duty Hours: 1) The performance hours of the Military Treatment Facility are as follows: Monday - Friday between the hours of 0630 - 1730. 2) Routine work hours will be scheduled by the Family Health Flight Commander, or designee, to correspond with the needs of the department. The contracted Family Medicine Physician will be scheduled for outpatient visits Monday through Friday for a minimum of 9 hours per day to include a one hour (non-paid) lunch. The Physician may be required to work a maximum of 11 hours per day to include a one hour (non-paid) lunch. The Physician may also be asked to work an occasional Saturday (such as conducting annual school/sports physicals or annual air show) as determined by the Family Health Medical Director or Family Health Flight Commander.
Place of Performance: The work to be performed will be at the 96th Medical Group campus, Eglin AFB. Health Care Workers shall receive notification two weeks prior to the reassignment to another location with a 40-mile commuting radius of their assigned MTF.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
