Aircraft Mechanic - Wiring

Responsibilities:

  • Perform efforts associated with sealing, wrapping, bonding, tying, and closure of wire harnesses and cables in accordance with standard processes.

Qualifications

  • Required active Secret clearance. Candidates without active clearance will not be considered.
  • Able to perform connector terminations including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring.
  • Able and understanding of routing instructions and handling of harnesses.
  • Demonstrates capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification/repair.
  • Experienced using tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of electrical wiring.

U. S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Conditions of Employment:

Applicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation which may include education, criminal and work history verifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
