Ops Analyst

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is currently seeking an Operations Analyst for potential Airlift Test and Evaluation positions at Hurlburt Field, FL. The positions would support the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation (AFOTEC) Detachment. This is a great opportunity to be on the cutting edge of our countrys next generation of mobility and airlift aircraft.
Work Location is Hurlburt Field, FL.
Responsible for providing technical assistance of operational effectiveness, suitability, and combat capability evaluations. Work includes development of test objectives and plans, test execution, data and results analysis, and reporting.
Drafts operational effectiveness test plans, reports, and various supporting documents and briefings
Assists the Test Director in timely preparation of high-quality analysis across the varied test venues during all test phases
Contributes to all facets of test design and planning using in-depth knowledge of system under test, AFOTEC test policies, and test range capabilities
Attends meetings and conferences as required
Approximately 10-20% CONUS travel will be required to multiple government and contractor facilities around the country, representing the government T&E team with program office, contractor, laboratory, Federally-Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC), and academic activities.

Job Requirements
A Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering or a related degree is required. Position requires practical application of one or more of the following: Independently formulating and applying design of experiments, Independently formulating and applying analytical tools, specifically: means, medians, percentiles, deviations, ANOVA, Generalized Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Multivariate Analysis and Factor Analysis, Independently creating automated analytical toolsets as necessary, Academic and practical application of the verification, validation and accreditation of modeling and simulation.
Experience with Design of Experiments concepts and statistical principles.
Must have 6 years of experience in the field of Operations Research
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products
Operational Test Evaluation experience
Familiarity with current Operational test plans, test procedures, data collection, analysis, and reporting
Experience in operational testing or experience with mobility and airlift systems
SECURITY CLEARANCE: SECRET clearance with less than five years since the last investigation closed out. Candidates must also have the ability to obtain clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) clearances to perform the work. Candidates who already possess TOP SECRET clearance are highly desired.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
