Basic Qualification Requirement:

Experience:
You must have at least 1 year of specialized experience at the GS-11 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Examples of specialized experience includes providing financial analysis expertise and advice; Providing functional database administration for cost and pricing systems; Providing management officials financial system advice and assistance related to the impact of financial transactions on program operations; Performs analysis and reconciliation to ensure the proper disposition of financial transactions in systems. providing financial analysis expertise and advice. This experience must have been at a level of difficulty and complexity sufficient to demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of this position. Applicants must have served at least 52 weeks at the GS-11 (or equivalent in an alternate pay system) within the Federal Civil Service to be considered for referral. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of Air Force (AF), Department of Defense (DoD), other federal laws and regulations governing financial system procedures, and related budgetary and appropriated funds guidance. Knowledge of financial systems, practices, methods, and techniques to independently perform a variety of assignments and to make recommendations to resolve financial systems operation problems. Knowledge of organization missions, functions, applicable regulations and their relationships to other federal activities and private industries to determine the impact of financial transactions on internal and external operations. Ability to plan, process, gather, organize work, consolidate, reconcile, assemble, interpret, and analyze financial management information and present it in written reports, statements, and/or briefings. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to justify defend, present and/or recommend on financial system operations and policies. Skill in interpersonal relations:
ability to establish and maintain effective relationship and gain cooperation with others. Knowledge of financial management methods practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes. Knowledge of automated data processing concepts and systems capabilities to accomplish financial, budget, programming and funding tasks. Skill in the application of analytical methods and techniques for analyzing and evaluation the effect of continuing changes in financial systems. PART-TIME OR UNPAID
Experience:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
