Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in- grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Broad knowledge of advanced engineering concepts and principles for the Test and Evaluation (T&E) of the USAF's entire range of armaments, reconnaissance, and electronic combat systems and their integration into aircraft. Knowledge of formulating, directing, interpreting, and applying test acceptance and planning to ensure operational validity and credibility in the T&E of various types of armament, reconnaissance, and electronic combat systems and related items and their integration into aircraft. Knowledge of the policies, practices, regulations, and laws concerning management process and initiatives including statutory requirements for T&E of Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAP) Broad knowledge of professional engineering principles in the area of munitions, sensor, guidance and electronic systems testing and scientific computation and the ability to develop and utilize appropriate data collection techniques, build and use models and simulation techniques, use of statistical theory, quantitative techniques and methods to develop, adapt, and modify data. (5) Knowledge of management of operational and engineering programs sufficient to:
(1) Serve as an expert in the state-of-the-art T & E program activities as they relate to complex weapons and electronics systems, and (2)coordinate test programs activities of diverse operational and technical staffs compromised of professionals representing several fields of engineering. Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of the DoD, Air Force, and other organizations that govern, interface with, and/or influence the systems acquisition process with particular knowledge of mission schedule in general and the Eglin/CSE system in particular. Ability to effectively represent the organization in high-level meetings and conferences and to maintain cooperative relations with all contacts. PART-TIME OR UNPAID

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
